Halloween has its origins in the traditions of various ancient peoples, notably the Celts, who celebrated one of the most common Sabbaths (holidays), Samhain (the others being Imbolc, Beltane and Lammas) in the Celtic calendar and where the respective Samhaim Festival (or The Feast of the Sun) is celebrated.
A time for pumpkins, sweets, witches and so much more. The predominant colours are black and orange.
